I closed the Third South Summit of the Group of 77 and China with a call on leaders in the world to support each other’s prosperity and ensure that nobody is left behind.
My one year chairmanship of the G77+China group of nations shall focus on three key issues;
1. Enabling participation of all persons in spheres of production of goods and services.
2. Enabling access to markets for ease of buying and selling of goods and services.
3. Creating enabling soft and physical infrastructure in the sectors of energy, information and technology, and transport.
There’s so much we can do together, however, prosperity cannot be achieved if the group still has pockets of insecurity as this is among the top impediments to investment.
