I have changed my mind on white wedding,and I think it's over ratted, we have been colonized and it has brain washed us that we have forgetting the beautiful and rich culture of different communities , and now we are all dumping our traditional marriage ceremonies , and taking Loans ,borrow moneys ,do harrambes ,organise paybills , do plages,
And end up with a whole huge debt just to cut a nich with A humongous White wedding , left with debts , starting your love life with controlling and managing calls ,of who was not paid for what and when ? Why are we subjecting ourselves to un necessary pressure just for validation that we are doing well.

Traditional wedding equally has a marriage certificate and it's honored by the law courts of Kenya. Stop hiring gowns , get a good designer to design your African outfit that will remain as a matk in your relationship, that you will wear during your anniversaries,and also your burial 💪 remember till death do us part ! Now once return the hired gowns 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ,what will you show your kids .
How about people who contributed to your wedding ,will you allow them share your WIFE?
The price for hiring a gown ,is more that what you will use to have your own personaliased outfit for your BIG DAY.
TRUST ME MUZUNGUS ENJOY THE TRADITIONAL WEDDINGS MORE BECAUSE THEY FIND IT UNIQUE.

Stop giving yourself pressure for nothing.
There is wedding,then there is living with the person You have married . Imagine starting your life with DEBTS.
But if you can afford it
Baby girl go for it ,but just don't forget to do for us a small traditional marriage ceremony that will revive our culture so we can also associate with you .

I personally die to be in a white gown
But then for sure
My traditional wedding must leave a cultural stamp.
