On 15th November 2025, the Nyakagezi Gorilla Group in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park 🥳🥳welcomed a newborn infant, delivered by adult female Cyizanye. This is her second offspring, following her firstborn, Tulambule, in 2016.

This birth is yet another milestone in Uganda’s ongoing conservation success, reflecting our commitment to protecting and nurturing one of the world’s most endangered species.
